Confirma- tion of the outburst has come from Gary, as indicated by the observations below : 1995 Jan 11.726 UT, 11.1 (P. Schmeer, 0.20-m SCT, seq: TA); Jan 11.740 UT, 11.1 (P. Schmeer, 0.20-m SCT, seq: TA); Jan 11.744 UT, 11.1 (G. Poyner, 0.40-m refl., seq: TA); EF Peg was last seen in outburst on July 7, 1992, by Patrick Schmeer. It reached mag 12.0, and it apparently was not a superoutburst. Since the variable is one of the components of a close optical double star, make sure to indicate, when reporting magnitude estimates, if your estimate relates to the combined magnitude or not. A detailed description of the photometric behaviour of EF Peg during its superoutburst in 1991 October is given in [1]. Spectroscopic observations are reported in [2], while an overview of some recent outburst observations, and a discussion on the cycle length of EF Peg, is presented in [3].
