This interesting object is part of the CVAP. Available observations : 1996 Apr. 22.860 UT, [14.1 mv (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m refl., seq: GSC); 1996 Apr. 25.963 UT, 15.07 CU (T. Vanmunster, 0.25-m SCT, unfiltered ST-7 CCD image); CI UMa was last seen in outburst by Lasse Jensen, Denmark, on 1995, Sep. 27 [CVC 60], when the object reached mag. 14.0. During the January 1995 superoutburst of CI UMa (which was first noticed by J. Pietz, Germany), Daisaku Nogami, Ouda Station, Kyoto University, Japan, obtained time resolved CCD photometry of the object, using a 60-cm reflector. Superhumps with an amplitude of 0.21 mag were clearly present, and 4 superhump maxima were observed during a 6 hours photometry session. From this, a superhump period of 0.0626 +/- 0.0005 day was determined. Tonny Vanmunster
