EG Cnc [UGWZ, 11.9v - 17:v]

The never ending story ! EG Cnc continues to erupt. 
We received a report about a rebrightening from Jochen Pietz,
Germany and were able to confirm his observation. Here are
some details :

1997 Jan 16.148 UT, [15.2  (T. Vanmunster, 0.35-m refl.);
     Jan 16.83  UT,  13.5  (J. Pietz, visual observation);
     Jan 16.936 UT,  13.6  (T. Vanmunster, 0.25-m SCT + unfilt. CCD);


Downes, Webbink and Shara catalog

Ron Downes, STScI, USA communicates : "The second edition of the CV 
catalog has been submitted, and will appear in the April issue of 
PASP. ... This edition will not only have charts for new objects, 
but will also  have corrected charts."
