Yamada, Ishikawa, Japan. Several confirma- tions have been received since then, as indicated by the observations below. The star was last seen in outburst on January 11, 1994 (independent detection by Yamada and Vanmunster). 1994 08 25.883 UT, [13.8 (T. Vanmunster, Landen, Belgium, 35-cm refl); 26.717 UT, 12.7 (M. Yamada, Ishikawa, Japan, 16-cm refl); 26.883 UT, 12.7 (J. Pietz, Germany, 20-cm SCT); 26.980 UT, 13.1 (T. Vanmunster, seq :TA); 26.989 UT, 13.1 (E. Broens, Mol, Belgium, 35-cm refl); 26.991 UT, 13.1 (T. Vanmunster) An international observing project on IP Peg to study its eclipse behaviour has been set up a few months ago by Bill Worraker, Didcot, UK (The Astronomer/BAA). Observers are stronly encouraged to send their eclipse timings (with full details on sequence and comparison stars) to Bill Worraker (INTERNET: bill.worraker@aea.orgn.uk). The first eclipse of the present outburst was recorded at Ouda Station, Kyoto University, Japan, by the team of Dr. Kato, on August 26.7888 UT (mid-eclipse) which is very close to the predicted time. V795 Cyg [UGSS, 13.4p - <17.9:p] ================================ Gary Poyner, Birmingham, UK informs us that Patrick Schmeer, Bisch- misheim, Germany has detected an outburst of V795 Cyg. Confirmation has come from Tonny Vanmunster, Landen, Belgium. 1994 08 26.929 UT, 12.9: (P. Schmeer, 20-cm SCT, seq: ?); 26.981 UT, 13.4 (T. Vanmunster, 35-cm refl, seq: TA); The previous outburst of V795 Cyg was observed on November 3, 1993 by P. Schmeer, at mag 13.1. UZ Boo [UGWZ, 11.5v - 20.4V] ============================ This interesting UGWZ star has started to fade.
