Confirmative observations are highly encouraged. Available observations : 1995 03 08.800 UT, [14.5 (G. Poyner, 0.40-m refl.); 03 11.042 UT, 14.3 (J. Bortle, 0.41-m refl.); KV And was last reported in outburst on February 21st, 1995, by Tonny Vanmunster (CVC 27). It reached magnitude 14.7 during that outburst (CVC 29), which probably was a normal one. UW Tri [N: 1983, 15p - <21p] ============================ Further to the comments in CVC 29 and CVC 30, T. Kato and his team members (Ouda Station, Japan) communicate : "Our CCD observations of UW Tri show a slight indication of a semi-periodic modulation with an approximate period of ca. 0.06 day. Due to the low amplitude, the results are still premature to identify them as being superhumps ... It is plausible that superhumps have not fully grown at this stage. We should wait for additional confirmative observations, and a careful analysis. Two observatories in the UK and the USA have included UW Tri in their observing programme". Daisaku Nogami, Ouda Station, Japan, further adds : "The light curve of UW Tri, obtained at Ouda, shows a steady decline with a rate of 0.2 mag/day, which is rather atypical for familiar types of dwarf novae, but may be interpreted as a fast nova with t3=15d". The latter might be an indication that UW Tri is a possible recurrent nova.
